Raiya first experienced the power of Kundalini energy in 2011. After decades of feeling detached from her body and everybody around her, her system spontaneously opened a pathway to Kundalini and allowed her to surrender to the pleasure and purification it brings. A oneness with all pervaded her entire being.
From that moment onward, Raiya has dedicated herself to cultivating her understanding of consciousness and reality, as well her ability to channel this healing energy.
Since her Kundalini awakening twelve years ago, Raiya has worked with myriad teachers spanning from psychology to somatics to attachment. Her Masters degree delved into social neuroscience and cognition; her PhD from Oxford University focused on language & cognition across cultures. Raiya is thoroughly enjoying the formalization of her certification in NLP from John Grinder, the co-originator of NLP.
Raiya is a graduate of the Luminous Awareness Institute where she further developed and cultivated her unique healing modality. She apprentices with Pamela Stokes for Therapeutic Movement and Brain Training, facilitating optimal physical, emotional, and mental well being through heart-brain coherence. Her current mentors are Maya Jaguar in spiritual healing, as well as Kristen Greco in integrated somatics.
We all have undergone a great forgetting. This statement is true on myriad levels: We forget our childlike innocence as we take on more and more responsibilities in the world; we forget our bodies as we're told in school that it's our minds and intellects that lead to success in society; we forget our divinity and think that we're merely separate individuals roaming around this planet trying to find remedies for our loneliness. Raiya, too, underwent this familiar forgetting. That's how she knows the path back to divinity, having traversed it (and actively still traverses it) herself.
Raiya paves the pathway back to our embodied, sensual, intuitive selves with frameworks and tools from multiple disciplines. There is a meeting of Eastern and Western techniques, resulting in a weaving of the neuroscientific into the metaphysical. The psychological into the somatic. The mind into the body. And the weaving forms a tapestry that is our essence. There is so much we don't understand, so let's light the way with what we do know and be open to what we can learn.
With a doctorate degree in cognitive psychology and linguistics and 12 years of work experience in the field, Raiya utilizes the power of Neurolinguistic Programming into her facilitation. Original and learned frameworks blend together to guide your session, which are paired with somatic releases to activate release and transformation.
Kundalini on a cellular level both dances the peripheral nervous system and retemplates the central nervous system. When you can surrender to the life force that is always there, it can move freely through you and penetrate your entire system, As it flows through held tension and blockages in your body, it can transform this bound energy into active, blissful life force that purifies as it moves through your body.
Retemplating of the central nervous system unfolds for the week after. The patterns, both energetic and emotional, that are revealed during the session allows you to see what's in front of you more clearly, instead of viewing the moment through foggy projections. The fire may kick up emotions that take time to run their course; for that reason, Raiya offers integration at the end of each session and a longer check-in call after the introductory session. Integration is key; as such, Raiya only meets again with a client once integration is complete, the timing of which varies from system to system and can be discussed directly with Raiya after your first session.
Raiya has helped numerous beings find their fire, some with their own first spontaneous awakenings during sessions or in the days after. Many clients report an increase of energy for days or even a week afterward, and more than a handful have reported waking up with kundalini bliss flowing through their system on multiple occasions. Others find that they're left feeling significantly more relaxed on a physical level. Some report states of deep or consistent peacefulness and calm.
